Contact and corrections
Found a figure that does not match your court papers, a statute that has changed, or a broken link? Tell us here. Every report is checked against the source before anything on the site changes.
Before you report: common reasons a figure differs
- Different deductions. Employers compute disposable earnings from the deductions required by law on that check; a bonus, overtime or a new tax withholding changes it.
- A different pay date. Floors tied to a minimum wage change when the wage does — on January 1 in most states, July 1 in DC and Oregon.
- Another order came first. Support withholding or an earlier garnishment uses up part of the federal 25% ceiling.
- The court changed it. Hardship reductions and exemption claims lower the amount for one case only.
- An employer fee. Some states, such as Indiana, let the employer charge a processing fee partly taken from your pay.
If none of these explains the difference, please send the report — mismatches with real orders are the most useful corrections we get. When a report is confirmed we correct the page and move its “verified” date, so you can see the change took effect.
