A New Haven weekly check

Connecticut protects 40 hours of its $16.94 minimum wage — $677.60 a week of disposable pay. A New Haven worker grossing $900.00 with $160.00 withheld keeps everything up to that line, and the execution may take only the $62.40 above it, well under the $185.00 a federal-only state would allow.
